Milwaukee, Feb. 5, 2025…Marcus Theatres^® is hosting The Unbreakable Boy Hometown Celebration, a red carpet event with Hollywood actors Zachary Levi and Peter Facinelli on Wednesday, Feb. 12, at Marcus Twin Creek Cinema to celebrate Marcus associate Austin LeRette’s story making it to the big screen.

From Lionsgate Films, The Unbreakable Boy is inspired by the New York Times-bestselling memoir of the same name written by Austin’s father, Scott LeRette. It tells the true story of Austin’s joyous, life-affirming worldview that persisted even as he faced diagnoses of both autism and a rare brittle bone disease. Today, Austin is a two-year member of the Marcus Theatres family and works at Marcus Twin Creek.

The event kicks off at 6 p.m. with a VIP red carpet reception that features a meet-and-greet with Zachary and Peter. Attendees will feast on Marcus menu items like Smash Burger Sliders and Zaffiro’s Pizza, take photos with Austin, Scott, Zachary, and Peter before the movie screens. Tickets are on sale now for $30, with a part of the proceeds benefiting NerdHQ, Zachary Levi’s nonprofit that provides mental health services and therapy for those who can’t afford it. Moviegoers also can receive a signed copy of Scott LeRette’s book The Unbreakable Boy when they make a donation to NerdHQ (while supplies last).
