Marked Men: Rule & Shaw

Synopsis: Shaw, a pre-med student, has loved Rule, a rebellious tattoo artist, for years, though he’s only ever seen her as a family friend. After one uninhibited night, they’re forced to confront buried feelings while navigating grief, family expectations, and fear of commitment—testing whether love between two people from such different worlds can truly survive. Rule runs Marked, a tattoo shop he shares with his misfit friends—a close-knit group of outsiders prioritizing freedom over commitment. Still haunted by the death of his twin brother, Remy, Rule fears that letting Shaw in will only lead to more heartbreak. Meanwhile, Shaw struggles to reconcile her feelings for Rule with the pressures from her wealthy parents, who push her toward Gabe (Bradway), her controlling ex-boyfriend. Both must battle internal demons and external pressures. Rule’s fear of vulnerability keeps him emotionally distant, convinced that opening up to Shaw means risking the same pain he felt with Remy’s loss. Shaw, torn between her love for Rule and her family’s expectations, must decide if following her heart is worth the fallout.
